Subject: Association update

Your Executive Committee Met on June 6, 2009 with seven officers and representatives present. One representative, Dick Drew, recently resigned after many years of faithful service. We are grateful to Dick for his many years of service, and we shall miss his participation.

The Executive Committee discussed a number of items and reminders that need to be brought to the attention of each homeowner.

Road Maintenance
1. The five catch basins on Phillips Road were professionally cleaned a few weeks ago, and once again are in excellent condition.
2. A number of cracks in the road surface have appeared over time. What action should be taken is under consideration.
3. As reported at the 2008 Annual Meeting, Fitzpatrick Landscaping has agreed to clear the road of heavier accumulated amounts of sand periodically throughout the summer months.
Signage
1. “Private Property, No Trespassing” signs have been posted by the Army Corps of Engineers at the Scusset Beach end of Phillips Road.
2. The placement of “No Outlet” signs is planned for the entrance at the north end of the road.

Property Break-ins
A rash of break-ins to residents’ homes and motor vehicles has been reported to Sandwich police in recent weeks. It is in everyone’s best interest to keep all property locked and to advise neighbors of times away from home.

Road Parking
Please advise guests and renters that according to our Community Guidelines, parking is prohibited on Phillips Road. This is to ensure access for emergency vehicles, to protect the road surface, and to maintain privacy for our members, their guests and renters.

Finance
Attached to this letter is an invoice for remittance of 2009 road fees. The fee remains at $60 per address. Please remit by the stated due date.
